Sky News Australia and The Australian reported on the complaints I made to the ACCC and AHPRA about ACON’s gender clinic. It is one of 49 gender clinics I’m auditing. But no one is really covering the point of the exercise - I’m doing this because the clinics are breaking the laws, regulations and medical codes that safeguard children we call ‘transgender’ in healthcare.
Everyone talks about gender ideology - yes, it’s crap. They talk about all the harms of puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones and sex reassignment surgery - yes, so do we. But how is it that people aren’t noticing that the key to all that harm is this: neither the gender clinics nor the regulatory bodies are following the rules they follow for every other field of medicine. We are giving some children one model of medicine, and everyone else another.
